The crown glory those edges. I have had a man made problem first using chemical on my hair which was no problem with starting a healthy hair journey back in the day to reverse the issues. Done save the edges.
Later on down the road I was given the wrong prescription by a doctor that was for a very minor temporary condition. I started to lose my hair. Was I stress out or eating the wrong foods. Then I went to another for a second opinion. I was prescribed a type of steroid that should have never been given in the first place. Please take care of your hair it is a reflect of what is put in your body. It been five years and edges are hard to grow back. I find this combination of rosemary, coconut oil and natural aloe vera has restore the hair loss. I still have work to do. I only use aloe ver gel on my natural edges. I do not style them.
Toothbrush simulation stay consistent with your aloe gel and simulation schedule
Try to be careful when washing you face and check the soap you are using. The edges get alot of water abuse and can dry out without us thinking to moisturize them. Aloe Vera gel three time a day. You can use a baby electric toothpaste to stimulate the area. Use the back of the toothpaste lightly hold for a count of five and as a daily stying use the soft brush side to style.
Thanks so much for sharing. I have the same issue but did not narrow down the actual cause.
